This is the boring bit - the bit about me. So, I live in Norwich and work as a high school teacher. I trained as a musician but now teach a range of subjects. I've always enjoyed arts and crafts but feel that I've really found my own outlet through lampworking - making beads and sculptural items with molten glass over a flame.

I suspect that the seeds of pyromania were first sown in me when I was a child. I remember building bonfires in the garden and cooking over little holes in the ground from a very early age. I guess it was only a matter of time before I would turn this rather worrying trait into something creative, by taking up lampworking. It's a pretty good antidote to the day job too. Sometimes I imagine little faces in the flame.........but that's another story 

I love jewellery.  I love making my own. I love making glass beads the most. Simple as that.
