Welcome to my website. This is where I tell you a little bit about me and my business.
I have always loved being creative. Painting, drawing, working with yarn and fabric. Always happy to receive art and craft supplies for Christmas and birthdays. Then came music, and after spending much of my school life and university playing instruments and singing, I became a music teacher in Norfolk.
Even while teaching, I managed to fit in some of my other interests, so dabbled with making jewellery, and then discovered lampworking - making glass beads (and other items). I became obsessed, and somehow managed to juggle teaching with running a small business making and selling jewellery-related items.
In 2012 I had the opportunity to leave teaching and become self-employed, and I took that opportunity, and here I am, with my own beads and jewellery, and supplying materials and resources to other makers.
I still explore other media, and am continually tempted by those art and craft supplies. It's not a bad way to live.
